• Employment Type: TravelWe are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for a Night Shift (3x12 hours) position in San Rafael, California. This role requires expertise in critical care nursing, ensuring the highest level of patient safety and treatment in a fast-paced ICU setting.
  
  Roles and Responsibilities:
  
  Provide comprehensive care to critically ill patients, including advanced hemodynamic monitoring, ventilator support, and emergency interventions.
  Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in accordance with ICU protocols and best practices.
  Monitor and interpret vital signs, recognizing and responding to changes in patient conditions.
  Administer medications, blood products, and IV therapies as prescribed.
  Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, respiratory therapists, and specialists, to develop and execute patient care plans.
  Educate patients and families on disease processes, treatment options, and post-discharge care.
  Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Cerner EMR.
  Adhere to hospital policies, infection control guidelines, and ICU best practices to ensure patient safety.
  
  Requirements:
  
  Experience: Minimum 1+ year of recent ICU experience (within the last 3 years) - Required. 2+ years preferred.
  Licensure: Active California RN License - Required.
  Certifications: BLS, ACLS - Required. NIH Stroke Scale, CCRN, Dialysis/SLED experience - Preferred.
  Technical Skills: Strong critical care skills, ability to manage ventilators, and expertise in advanced life support interventions.
